Finding a therapist can feel daunting and confusing specially when you are dealing with the pressures of daily life. I offer a safe and confidential place where I will not judge you but help you to make good choices for yourself. Each person is unique and I draw on several approaches to find the best way to work with my clients. My work and my training is integrative using humanistic, transpersonal and creative ways of working with my clients in order to achieve the best results. I will tailor my way of working to suit your needs. I will work in a psychodynamic way looking at your childhood and how past experiences have had an impact on your and your negative ways of being. I will also work in a transpersonal way using visualisations, dreams work, art therapy and mindfulness in order to create meaning in your life.
Do check my website as both my own life experience and my training has enabled me to work with many issues.
I work from two locations in West Hampstead.
I am currently working both online and face to face. I offer both short term and long term psychotherapy/counselling.
Hello, my name is Nicole and I have over twenty years experience working as an integrative counsellor/psychotherapist. I am based in West Hampstead. Currently, I am working online as well as face to face. I work holistically, taking into account all the dimensions that make us human. Stress and pain can cause us to shut down some aspects of ourselves causing anxiety, depression and confusion. My way of working has you at the heart of it, and my aim is to help you to develop the qualities that you need in order to make changes, to understand, and face your life's challenges. Many people struggle to make sense of themselves within changing life stages, or face environmental or cultural challenges. Talking therapies can provide space and time to examine your troubling concerns both past and present, in the hope of developing a more productive life, and having better relationship with others.
An initial consultation does not mean any commitment to therapy; it's an opportunity to meet and explore what is troubling you and see if we can work together. As well as my training as a therapist, I worked in a residential treatment centre for addictions for sixteen years. I was also involved for 8 years in coordinating a project for domestic abuse, working with survivors of domestic violence of all genders.
I work with many issues so do check my website.
I have completed the UKCP Covid-19 Online Working Guidance course.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
