My approach is compassion-focused and I work alongside my clients to develop a happier and healthier relationship with themself. Such a great start for helping relationships flourish with others.
I am interested in neurodivergence (such as ASC - autism - and ADHD), whether diagnosed or not, and see every person I work with as a unique individual.
I enjoy working with people to overcome the areas where they get stuck, and to help them move forward in the direction they would love to travel but perhaps don't believe they can, or don't dare.
I work long term for exploration, increased self-awareness and deep healing, and also in a short-term solution-focused way for specific goals and aspirations.
I am an experienced psychotherapist, Certified Transactional Analyst and Sound Healing Practitioner.
I originally trained at Regents College, London, and qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist with an MSc at Metanoia, Ealing.
I use both talking therapy (for the mind and emotions) and sound healing (for the body and for the spirit) - the way we do this will be absolutely unique to our relationship and what works for you.
I have over 20 years' experience in the corporate world and and having worked for a European company, I have a good understanding of the impact of culture and difference.
I co-facilitate retreats where the therapeutic approach is community and nature-based.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
