My Approach

I work with relational difficulties which appear in the everyday relationships we have. Managing conflict within relationship or dealing with life can be challenging. Learning to manage conflicts can be a life opportunity for growth and change, leading to deeper understanding of ourselves and those around us.

As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to support people who find themselves struggling to maintain enduring and gratifying personal relationships; and who may find they need support with emotional concerns including anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.

I offer a safe space for you to look at and explore what is happening in your life. I will work with you to identify and understand your various concerns and and the nature of your difficulties, looking at new ways of approaching those difficulties to help make changes or to look at alternate ways of relating. I have a specialist interest in working in a close, interpersonal manner with my clients, to support difficulties with trust, intimacy, dependency and loneliness. A great asset to my work is my knowledge of body psychotherapy and easing the body's holding of trauma.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Close to my heart is also the work I have done alongside a South London hospital’s Perinatal Unit. I have gained knowledge and experience in the life-changing experiences and feelings that can come up when becoming a parent. It is often difficult to feel safe enough to explore some challenging conflicts that can arise.   Finding a supportive space is important whilst beginning to develop and care for yourself as a parent and individual, as well as caring for your baby. Having worked with young children in an educational environment and supported people affected by emotional and physical abuse in a national organisation; I have come to believe therapy to be a rewarding process of discovery, healing and change.
As a Therapist for my private practice in London and Surrey, I care for and support my clients who experience a range of emotional and relationship difficulties. I work with many people who have Dyslexia, are Adult survivors of childhood abuse and also the complex impacts of narcissistic relationships.
