My Approach

I pride myself on creating a welcoming, therapeutic and confidential space for the child young person and family. I am able to attune myself to the client I am working with in order to understand their needs. I have used humanistic and integrative models using techniques in Gestalt and TA Theory as well as the use of systemic work where needed. I am very familiar with safeguarding policy and practice. I work within UKCP Code of Ethics and I am committed to my personal development in this field of work.

About Me

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working in and around Teesside. I am very approachable and take pride in my work. I have over 5 years of experience as a therapist and I have over 16 years of working with Children, Young People and Families helping them through a wide variety of expereiences.
