I offer a compassionate and collaborative space for exploration, healing, and growth. My integrative way of working draws on humanistic, psychodynamic, and transpersonal perspectives.
From the humanistic approach, I bring deep respect for your individuality and your potential for self‑awareness and choice. The psychodynamic perspective helps us understand how past experiences and relationships shape how you feel and behave today. The transpersonal aspect invites connection with meaning, creativity, and the broader dimensions of who you are — recognising that growth can emerge through challenge as well as insight.
Together, we work gently but purposefully, listening with care and curiosity, cultivating self‑understanding, and supporting your journey toward wholeness.
I think of the process as deep sea diving around shipwrecks, reefs and sand banks. You lead the way and we go to the depth that works for you, showing your world. You may wish to approach some old wreck or dust off an interesting shell or dig in a sand mound. Then when you are ready, return to the surface.
In time, you may decide to reclaim something from the depths or to leave it where it is, knowingly, but you have a chance to map out the underwater landscape to make sense of your world.
The relief of suffering and pain is deeply important to me. After studying Psychology at university, I trained at the Gestalt Centre and the Psychosynthesis Trust in London, including specialised training for online therapeutic work. I later trained as a mindfulness teacher to enrich my practice and to offer greater support to clients. My most recent training is as an integrative psychotherapist, combining both humanistic and psychodynamic approaches. I am currently completing my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
I work in private practice and have previous experience within the NHS, charities, and primary schools. As technology has become more central to our lives, most of my work now takes place online. I encourage a compassionate, attentive, and creative exploration of your experiences, fostering understanding and growth within a safe and supportive space.
This holistic approach aims to support your healing and personal development.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
