I am an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist and clinical supervisor trained at the Bowlby Centre. I am a registered psychotherapist with experience in private practice, the NHS and voluntary sector. I have extensive experience of working with clients on a short-term basis as well as open-ended therapy. I am an active member of the Bowlby Centre, in London, where I taught attachment theory and a clinical seminar. I work in English and French. Prior to training as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, I worked in business development and executive coaching in international corporates.
My private practice is located in London SE1 (Waterloo area) and Salisbury, Wiltshire.
The way I practise psychotherapy is deeply relational. My work is strongly influenced by attachment theory, with its emphasis on stability and security. It accentuates the importance of our early attachment patterns and their impact on our relationships in adulthood. Psychoanalysis thinking is also central to my practice. Body-based models such as somatic experiencing as developed by Peter Levine as well as the Pesso-Boyden sensorimotor psychotherapy also influence my clinical practice.
