I provide individual therapy for children and young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, anger, bereavement, trauma, or neuro-diverse challenges. Using play, creative expression, and conversation, sessions help children process emotions, build coping strategies, and develop self-confidence.
I work with children, young people and families to provide a safe, supportive, and reflective space to explore feelings and experiences.
I understand that emotional challenges can be difficult to talk about and I aim to create an environment where children and young people feel heard, understood, and supported in a non-judgemental manner. I also work closely with parents and carers to help them understand their child’s/ young person’s emotional world and so strengthen positive relationships at home.
“Every child and young person deserves a space to feel safe, understood, and supported to grow emotionally and personally.”
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
