I’m passionate about helping my clients with their healing and transformation so that they can flourish in the world as their truest most authentic selves! I work with creatively-minded people from all walks of life who are interested in working on their self expansion and life transformation…
Maybe you have experienced various challenges whether it's feeling like an outsider in your own community, family or job to being born into a background that has presented complexity: Whatever your concern, I'm here to listen so that we can unpack and explore this together. I work with the unconscious aspects of the psyche to investigate areas that may have been missed in your previous understanding. From this we can work on uncovering inner blocks and get to the root of self limiting beliefs.\n\nI'm particularly interested in helping people heal, navigate and thrive after trauma. I've recently written a book on mixed-heritage identity and I would also like to help more men with their mental health and navigating complex trauma (CPTSD).\n\n\n
Sessions are 50mins weekly. My fees are £90-120 depending on circumstances.\n\n
If you are interested in working with me please do email me and we can arrange a free no obligation 20 minute online consultation where we can meet and I can learn a bit about you and your goals for therapy...
I’m currently practising in London and online.
I work within a transpersonal transcultural integrative anti-oppressive framework using psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and Jungian methods such as dreamwork and visualisation alongside talk therapy to build a deeper connection to the Self.\n
I trained at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in Paddington. I began my counselling journey at St Josephs Hospice in Hackney working with bereavement and loss. I then joined The Caravan drop-in counselling service, in St James’ Piccadilly, followed by three years as a therapist with Frontline Therapy. Following this I undertook my psychiatric training placement at the NHS Maudsley Hospital in South London (SLAM). I am a member of the Black and Asian Therapists Network (BAATN).
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked within the fashion and media industry for 20 years. I also run my own courses and facilitate therapeutic groups and healing circles.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
