My approach weaves together:
Transpersonal – exploring meaning and working at depth with a soulful perspective
Developmental and Relational – exploring early experiences and relationships in the here and now
Creative – drawing on image, symbol, dreams, and Dramatherapy when helpful
Jungian – supporting the journey of individuation and integrating all parts of the Self
I am a fully accredited Integrative and Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Dramatherapist, and Supervisor with over 20 years’ experience. I work relationally and creatively with a focus on trauma, life transitions, and the impact of early experiences in person in Crouch End, London and online.
I trained in Jungian and developmental approaches to psychotherapy and integrate talking therapy with creative, imaginative, and body-based methods, depending on individual needs. My work is also rooted in Buddhist practice; drawing on compassion, mindfulness, and the teachings of the Dharma.
My specialisms include early childhood trauma and family dynamics; depression, low self-esteem, body image and eating difficulties; fertility and parenting issues; as well as cultural identity and belonging, life transitions, spirituality, and creative blocks.
I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and cultures, and I have extensive experience supporting psychotherapy trainees.
Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I also supervise other clinicians and have taught and supervised within leading psychotherapy organisations in London such as Re-Vision and the Psychosynthesis Trust. I also facilitate creative therapy groups, which offer the opportunity to explore personal themes and work at a deep level within a supportive group setting.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
