My Approach

My therapeutic approach is creative, expressive, humanistic, psychodynamic and person-centred, based on the secure attachment and relationship with the therapist influenced mainly by Bowlby, Winnicott, Jung, Rogers and work of Peter Levine. My DMP inspiration is in Kestenberg, Bartenieff and Chase. The mindfulness and active imagination is underpinning my work. I am aslo Authentic Movement and Dance of Awareness Facilitator using Jungian active imagination approach.

About Me

A Registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist who practices within the UK council for Psychotherapy and the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy (ADMP UK) Professional Code of Ethics. Born in former Czechoslovakia. Having few master degrees in other fields. My practise is very inclusive with different ages group, different gender and race, with people with mental health issues, with asylum seekers and with elderly long terminally clients in the hospice settings. Being also a registered Exercise to Music Instructor since 2007 (member of EREPs and CIMSPA), I am specializing working with people suffering body image issues, body dysmorphic disorder and eating disorder. I am trauma informed psychotherapist.
