My Approach

I work in a trauma-informed, collaborative, and paced way. You are always in control of what we explore and when. Sessions are led by your needs, your nervous system, and your readiness — not a fixed agenda. We work gently, with curiosity and compassion, building safety before exploring change.

What makes this space different
Many clients worry that sex therapy will feel exposing, performative, or goal-driven. My work is none of those things. There is no expectation to “fix” yourself, engage in explicit discussion, or move faster than feels right. Pleasure is never forced — it is invited, only when and if you are ready.

About Me

I have over 20 years working in woman's wellness. Originally as a physical therapist. It became very apparent how back, hip and pelvic floor issues impacted sexual desire & caused desire differences in relationships. Training as a Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist meant I could offer women the space to talk. With many of clients life has taken their time, identity and their sexual self becomes a shadow. Very often women accept 'sex' is something they used to do when I strongly believe we deserve to enjoy pleasure and to be pleasured. Over the weeks I help you work through the past, release what needs to be let go, accept and comfortably contain so you find the sexual being you so deserve to be.

  • Individuals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Every couple experiences shifts in intimacy and desire—it’s completely normal. But when these differences create tension, misunderstandings, or distance, they can leave you both feeling frustrated or disconnected. Desire differences don’t have to mean conflict or rejection. With the right support, you can rediscover pleasure, connection, and mutual fulfilment—on your own terms.
Even the strongest relationships need a tune-up. Just like you service your car or care for your health, your marriage deserves attention too. The Marriage MOT sessions offer couples a chance to: Check in on your relationship health—identify strengths & areas for growth Improve communication—learn tools to navigate challenges with ease. Reignite connection & intimacy—keep the spark alive. Prevent future issues—resolve small tensions before they become big problems.
I often find women have various social scripts running. The rule we must abide by; the good girl code & if we step away we move to the ‘slut shaming’ side. Despite in recent years we have seen strides in sex posivity, the movement is still playing catch up. Society still appears to make assumptions and very often many women are left with low self esteem & self worth. Psychosexual therapy gently unpicks the beliefs and societal scripts. We also have many women finding themselves single after being in a relationship or marriage for many years. Navigating the dating game can create much stress & anxiety. Sometimes women have never truly experienced being sexual for their own pleasure. Learning your sexual map is empowering & then building the confidence to date, form another relationship, choose the type of relationship that suits you requires depth of exploration.
Finding a sense of sexual self after experiencing sexual abuse/trauma can be a complex journey. Sexual abuse/trauma can deeply impact one’s relationship with intimacy, self-worth, & sexuality. Many of my clients have tried to be sexual for many years & struggle to understand why sometimes they have been able to participate & other times have no desire &/or interest. Reclaiming sexuality after abuse is about restoring a sense of safety, control & confidence within one's own body and finding ways to experience intimacy on one’s own terms.
