My Approach

I am a person-centred psychotherapist.

Person-centred therapy focuses on the client and their individual experience, rather than the therapist external interpretation and analysis of their life. It is very collaborative.

I can offer you a confidential, non-judgmental therapeutic space, where we can together explore what is currently causing you challenges, and blocking you from having a more fulfilling life. In this accepting environment you can look at your past thoughts, feelings and actions. I hope this can empower you to create change for your future.

Therapy can be a powerful experience, but I commit to walk through this experience alongside you.

About Me

I am Marta. I have lived in London for more than 15 years. I am Polish.

My goal is to ofer an accepting and attentive space where difficult experiences can be explored with honesty and at depth. Above all, I believe therapy is based on a connection between a client and a therapist, grounded in trust and collaboration.

My own experience of therapy inspired me to train as a therapist and accompany others in their personal explorations. I find it deeply rewarding to sit alongside clients, as they make sense of their experiences and discover a more fulfilling path forward. I know it can take a lot of effort to invite a stranger into the most intimate feelings and thoughts.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I volunteered at Antidote – free service specialising in addiction and chemsex. Over the years I have seen many clients dealing with various addictions and found person-centred approach really fitting for them.
I have vast experience working with neurodivergent clients - mainly autism / ADHD.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in media industry, across various corporate environments. This experience exposed me to a multitude of cultures. I work with many multilingual clients from various cultural backgrounds, representing different races, religions, cultural and political upbringings, often carrying conflicting beliefs.
I have a lot of experience working with LGBTQ+. I have worked for years at the North London queer charity London Friend, offering low-cost therapy to clients from London. I worked there with clients having gender, identity and relationship issues. I supported clients who experienced domestic violence, abuse, trauma, eating disorders, PTSD, anxiety and depression.
