I place neurodiversity at the heart of how I work. I attend closely to pacing, sensory needs and the hidden costs of masking, adapting the therapeutic space so it fits you rather than asking you to fit it.
From a Gestalt perspective, I stay present-focused and embodied. We notice how feelings, sensations and relational patterns arise in the moment, using that lived experience to deepen self-understanding and expand choice.
I am trauma-informed and identity-affirming, holding questions of safety, consent and cultural context with care. Alongside depth, I make room for curiosity, creativity and the wisdom you already carry.
Hello, I’m Marta, a UKCP-accredited Gestalt psychotherapist working with adults navigating neurodiversity, identity and complex relational patterns.
Much of my work is with neurodivergent adults and people living with the long shadows of relational, developmental and transgenerational trauma, including sexual abuse. I also work extensively with cultural difference, migration and belonging.
I offer therapy in English, Spanish and Italian, recognising how language and culture shape the way we feel and make meaning.
In our work together we focus on what matters to you now, honouring your strengths and adapting the process to your particular way of being.
If you are considering therapy and would like to explore whether we might be a good fit, I currently have limited availability for new clients.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
