I like to support the people I work with to make sense of the problems they are facing in the contexts of their histories, their current situations and relationships. My approach is to develop a space with you where you can feel safe enough to talk about what is significant and meaningful for you. We can then think and work together on your goals and hopes, moving forward in your lives in ways that feel better for you.
I am a systemic psychotherapist and have worked as a therapist predominantly for 21 years in the NHS and over the past five years working in private practice. I have experience of working with individual adults, couples, parents, families, young people and children. This experience has included working in a number of different NHS teams and organisations across London with children, young people and parents who have experienced a wide range of mental health difficulties. Before working as a therapist in child mental health services, I worked as a social worker, teacher and residential care worker with adults.
