My Approach

I’m an experienced systemic and family therapist working with adults, couples and families in English and Spanish. I work fully online, which means I can offer continuity and flexibility wherever you are — and many people find it easier to reach difficult feelings from a space where they already feel at ease.

Much of what brings people to therapy isn’t a problem inside one person — it lives in the space between us: in how we communicate, in old patterns that have become stuck, in relationships that feel strained or disconnected. My work helps people understand those patterns and find new ways of relating.

My career spans over twenty years in the NHS, including more than twelve as a family therapist across a range of mental health settings, alongside private practice. I also supervise other therapists, in both NHS and independent settings.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can think together about what you’re looking for and whether I’m the right person to help.

About Me

At the heart of my work is a simple conviction: our closest relationships shape our emotional wellbeing in powerful ways. Whether I’m working with an individual, a couple or a family, I pay close attention to patterns of communication, the meaning people make of their experiences, and the ways relationships can become stuck or disconnected.

I offer a thoughtful, unhurried space to reflect on what’s happening in your life and relationships, to understand it more deeply, and to begin finding a way forward. My approach is integrative — rooted in systemic and relational thinking, and drawing on emotionally focused and attachment-based ideas — but what matters most is what works best for you, not fitting you to a model.

I also offer parent-focused work where a young person is struggling but isn’t ready or willing to come to therapy themselves. Here, therapy can help parents and carers think more clearly about what’s happening, strengthen their responses, and support their child — including with emotional co-regulation.

Working bilingually, I see clients in both English and Spanish.
