My Approach

None of us exists in isolation — our emotional and psychological struggles are often shaped by our relationships, past experiences, culture, faith, and identity. I take a systemic and relational approach, helping clients understand how patterns between people can affect wellbeing across generations.

My work is collaborative, non-blaming and strengths-focused. I offer a calm and reflective space where people can explore challenges, reduce conflict, and rebuild trust — whether in couples, families or within themselves.

I welcome difference and complexity, including faith-based concerns, cross-cultural dynamics, and identity questions. I also offer space for long-term reflection when needed, especially in situations shaped by family history, trauma, or long-standing patterns.

Working relationally is not just my method — it’s a reflection of my values. I believe healing happens through connection, curiosity, and understanding.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with couples from all walks of life – across cultures, sexualities, and stages of relationship. I support partners through communication issues, conflict, separation, and life transitions, offering a calm, balanced space to reflect and move forward – together or apart.
I work with all kinds of families – adoptive, blended, single-parent, same-sex parents, kinship carers, and those from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I offer a steady, non-judgmental space to help families navigate change, conflict or stuck patterns and build stronger relationships.
I work with individuals, couples and families facing a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, eating difficulties, self-harm, emotional regulation issues, and neurodiversity. Systemic family therapy can help make sense of how these experiences affect relationships and support people in finding more balanced, connected ways of coping and moving forward.
I support parents navigating co-parenting after separation, blended family dynamics, and differences in parenting or attachment styles. Whether you're parenting together or apart, I offer a steady space to help make sense of challenges, reduce conflict, and strengthen your child’s emotional wellbeing.
My approach is relational and rooted in systemic thinking. Whether I’m working with individuals, couples or families, I focus on how relationships shape our experiences. Even individual work can bring about meaningful change in the wider system – in families, partnerships, and across generations.
