My Approach

I am an humanistic integrative psychotherapist; meaning I draw on different approaches depending on what you bring to therapy. I will provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space where you can share your experiences freely. I will be curious about who you are, how your past experiences shaped your present life and what you wish to change. I will support your growth by helping you making sense of your own story and taking ownership of it. While discussing your experiences, I may sometimes invite playfulness and creativity into our work together in order to discover different ways of connecting with you.
I work in English and in French and charge 100£ by session.

About Me

I became an integrative humanistic psychotherapist after spending 20 years working in the corporate industry. I am particularly interested in psychological difficulties related to work. I experienced the need to adapt to different places and cultures and I am conscious of the difficulty in feeling both authentically yourself and connected to your environment.
My training, my personal psychotherapy, my ongoing supervision and my continuous professional development ensure that I have a deep understanding of psychological issues and processing changes within one's life.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

A certain level of anxiety is necessary in life to warn you about potential dangers. However, when it is triggered regularly and automatically, it becomes debilitating. We will explore the origin and the triggers of your anxiety and look at some ways of reducing it; including mindfulness, grounding work or breathing techniques.
Having myself lived in and moved to different countries I understand the difficulties in, not only understanding the cultural differences, but also finding a way to adapt to them; while keeping our sense of belonging, far from our roots.
Burnout, impostor syndrome, continuous stress, exhaustion, issues with authority and hierarchy - these are examples of the invasive symptoms that are frequently experienced when we deny a part of ourselves at work. Therapy is a good place to take the necessary distance to identify patterns and reflect on your values and define a healthier relationship with your job.
