We lead complex lives and are constantly pressured to adapt. Today’s “global connectivity” can ironically leave us feeling isolated from others—and sometimes from ourselves.
For the past 15 years I have built a private practice as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, helping clients listen, reflect, and address issues vital to mental wellbeing. I have twenty years’ experience working across diverse cultures in complex urban settings in the US and Europe; and twenty years’ involvement in the arts and media through both practice and study.
I provide a safe, confidential space to explore difficult feelings and accompany you throughout your therapeutic journey. I believe distress arises from our unique life experiences; through attentive listening and collaborative conversation, I support you in finding your own solutions.
Having personally experienced the emotional challenges of leaving my country, I have a particular interest in displacement issues—from the consequences of migration to questions of identity.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
