As an integrative, relational psychotherapist, I combine different counselling and psychotherapy approaches to ensure that I can work in the most effective way, helping you in the way that suits you best. Since individuals think, feel and behave in different ways, it feels important to work with clients in individual ways too.
This may mean that we explore your patterns of behaviour and how you relate to others, this could mean looking at your childhood, the ways you learnt to behave. Doing this can help us to understand why you may do something in a certain way and how we can work on doing it in a different way.
It may also mean that we help you to identify practical approaches which can help you in making changes in your everyday life. Adapting how you think about something perhaps, so you no longer see it in a negative light, or it may be learning new ways to respond or react to others or giving you new skills to help you deal with events.
We will do all this together, working at a pace that feels right for you. In a non-judgemental space in which I hope you will feel comfortable and able to talk about anything which is important to you.
If you would like to work in person, I have a quiet and comfortable consulting room in Archway, North London, if you prefer to work remotely, we can work online or over the phone.
I am a warm and compassionate, integrative psychotherapist. I trained at the Minster Centre, London, gaining a Diploma in 2013 and an MA in 2015. I also have a Diploma from the Metanoia Institute, London.
I began working in private practice in 2014 and have several years’ experience working with a range of clients in a variety of settings including charitable organisations and training institutions. I continue to provide low and no-cost therapy, providing short and medium-term counselling alongside my long-term private client work.
As a member of UKCP I ensure I am kept up to date with new areas of research and training within the field. I am committed to my own professional development and continue to study and take additional courses which interest me as part of my CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
I am committed to ensuring counselling is available to all those in need and as such, offer a number of reduced fee places to those on low or no income. Please contact me if you feel this might apply to you.
