My approach offers a space for you to explore your experiences at your own pace, within a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. Together, we’ll gently make sense of what’s happening for you now and begin to uncover what might be keeping you feeling stuck, with the aim of opening up the possibility for change.
At the core of my work is the belief that the therapeutic relationship is central to healing. It’s through a genuine, trusting connection that meaningful and lasting change can take place. From our first meeting and throughout our work together, I place great importance on your emotional and physical safety. I’m mindful of the deep and often lasting effects of distressing or traumatic experiences on both body and mind, and I strive to offer a space where you feel truly heard, understood, and supported, at a pace that feels right for you. Clients often ask me what they can expect to take away from therapy. In my experience, one of the most valuable ‘resources’ is a deepening of self-awareness and insight. With that comes the potential for healing, growth, and real personal change. My intention is to support you in developing the understanding and internal resources you need to make lasting and meaningful shifts in your life.
Qualifications
MSc in Psychotherapy (Middlesex University) Grade: Distinction
Post Graduate Clinical Diploma in Psychotherapy (The Metanoia Institute).
BSc Joint Honours Psychology & Sociology, The City University London
I’ve completed over five years of clinical training and supervision at The Metanoia Institute, where I was awarded a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma in Psychotherapy and an MSc in Person-Centred Psychotherapy (accredited by Middlesex University), graduating with distinction.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I studied psychology and sociology at an undergraduate level, and spent several years working in finance and later in strategic roles within the civil service. This experience gave me valuable insight into how demanding work environments can impact both professional and personal wellbeing. Working with people from many different walks of life has broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to relate to the diverse challenges individuals encounter.
