My approach is relational, playful, accepting, curious and empathetic. I offer short- and longer-term therapy, working at each child or young person’s pace.
When words are not available, I use play and the arts to help children communicate and make sense of their feelings. I also offer talking therapy and creative ways of engaging teenagers. I understand behaviour as communication, and believe that feeling deeply understood and seen can be the beginning of healing.
With over 10 years’ experience of working with children, young people and families in schools, the third sector, community settings and social care, I am a UKCP-registered Child and Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapist.
I offer therapy for children and young people aged 4–18, with extensive experience of adolescent mental health and the challenges of navigating this stage of life.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
