My Approach

Holding you while you grow...

There is a quiet steadiness here, a calm presence that meets each moment with care. This is a place where thoughts, feelings, and experiences are noticed
and reflected on without judgement.

Empathy, integrity, and confidentiality guide every interaction, creating safety that is real and dependable.

Here, professional potency brings grounded support, allowing understanding, insight, and personal growth to unfold naturally, at a pace that feels right.
You are welcomed just as you are. Vulnerability is met with kindness, and all experiences are treated with respect, so each step can be taken gently and without pressure. Care is given to both what is expressed and what is quietly held, supporting reflection, clarity, and understanding.
In this environment, empowerment grows steadily, insight becomes clearer, and understanding deepens. Time is given to explore and process experiences
fully, fostering trust, connection, and a sense of being genuinely supported.
Reflection, learning, and meaningful growth are encouraged to take root and flourish, guided by steady presence, ethical practice, and respect for each individual journey.

Whether you are seeking personal therapy or professional supervision, you will be offered a balance of care with thoughtful challenge, allowing insight and
development to emerge in a secure and authentic way.

About My Practice

I’m a humanistic, integrative psychotherapist working in a relational style. At the heart of my approach is the belief that a co-created therapeutic relationship—one based on trust, respect, and mutual presence—is essential for meaningful and lasting change.

I aim to meet each person with care and compassion, honouring your unique way of being. Whether you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating the effects of past trauma, therapy offers a space to begin understanding and healing.

My practice is grounded in the values of protection, empowerment, potency, nurture, and authenticity. I offer a safe, consistent, and supportive environment—one where you can feel held enough to explore what’s been difficult, at your own pace.

None of us come to therapy because everything is going well. Often, it’s during times of pain, confusion, or vulnerability that we reach out for support. I believe those moments take strength, and they deserve to be met with gentleness and respect.

In our work together, I offer the presence of a self-regulating other, a steady space for reflection, insight, and exploration. I may share observations or offer tools when helpful, but I won’t direct or coach. This is your space, and together we’ll make meaning of the things that matter most to you.

I’m passionate about the healing potential of psychotherapy and deeply value walking alongside people in what can sometimes feel like a daunting or uncertain process. You’re not alone—I’m here to support you.

I work relationally, which means the therapeutic relationship itself is central to the process. Together, we build a safe and trusting space where you can explore your experiences, emotions, and patterns without judgement.

I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, integrating what best supports you. This might include humanistic, psychodynamic, somatic, or trauma-informed perspectives. The work is collaborative and responsive to your needs—not one-size-fits-all.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Anxiety Anxiety often shows up as a constant undercurrent of tension, worry, or restlessness that can feel exhausting and isolating. In therapy, we focus on creating calm within your body and mind, noticing what fuels the worry, and exploring ways to respond rather than be driven by it. Over time, this work helps you feel more present and steady and able to live with a greater sense of choice.
Bereavement Grief can arrive in waves, quietly or suddenly, touching every part of your life — body, mind, and heart. It can feel confusing, heavy, or isolating, even when others around you are well-meaning. In our work together, I provide a compassionate, steady space to honour your experience, navigate the complex emotions, and find ways to carry loss without being overwhelmed by it. The goal is not to “move on" but to help you find a sense of balance, presence, and connection while holding what matters most to you.
Domestic Violence, Coercion & Control I walk beside you, holding the space with steady presence, compassion, and grounded expertise. Coercion and control can shape how a person experiences safety, trust, and choice, often leaving everyday life feeling uncertain or constrained. In our time together, we can attend to the effects of that experience with care, exploring ways to rebuild a sense of safety, reclaim personal agency, and strengthen the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked or silenced. Healing beyond abuse is possible, and I will be here to support, contain, and witness that process with you.
Post-Traumatic Stress & Complex PTSD Trauma can leave a lasting imprint on the body, mind, and sense of safety, making the world feel unpredictable or overwhelming. In our work together, I hold a steady and attuned space where your nervous system can settle, patterns can be understood, and the parts of you that trauma tried to silence can begin to speak again. Healing unfolds gently, at your pace, so you can reconnect with yourself and reclaim a sense of grounded strength.
Supervision I support and challenge therapists in ways that encourage reflection, curiosity, and professional growth. In our work together, the focus is on developing your internal sense of integrity, applying theory relevant to your modality, and, where appropriate, integrating a holistic approach to meet the unique needs of your clients. I aim to create a space where it feels safe to explore your practice — celebrating what works well and examining moments where things may not have gone as planned — without judgement. My goal is to foster reflective practice, strengthen professional confidence, and help you carry your work forward with clarity, care, and skill.
