My Approach

I work holistically, drawing on integrative, somatic, and psychodynamic approaches tailored to your needs. Together, we collaborate to build insight, emotional balance, and move towards a fulfilling, authentic, and relationally connected life.

About Me

I am a COSRT and UKCP-accredited Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist with over 15 years’ experience working with individuals and couples. Throughout my career I have worked in several fields and draw experience from working as an NHS psychosexual therapist, a drug & alcohol counsellor, school counsellor, recovery worker for a mental health charity and a line support worker in a rape crisis centre. I work holistically, drawing on integrative, psychodynamic, and somatic approaches, tailored to your unique needs. Our work will be collaborative and focused, combining thoughtful exploration with practical strategies

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a particular interest in the way sexual difficulties and relationship problems can contribute to anxiety, low mood, and a sense of disconnection. Challenges with intimacy, desire, communication, or sexual functioning often affect emotional wellbeing and self-esteem. I work holistically to help clients understand these links, reduce anxiety, and develop more compassionate, confident, and connected ways of relating to themselves and others.
I welcome and affirm all couples, including diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship styles. I work collaboratively to help partners understand what is happening between them and what each needs to feel more supported and connected. Our work may involve exploring patterns of conflict, improving communication and emotional expression, rebuilding trust, strengthening intimacy, and clarifying shared values, goals, and boundaries.
Relationships can bring deep fulfilment, but they can also become one of the most challenging parts of our lives. You may be finding it difficult to communicate, feel a growing distance between you and your partner or be struggling with unresolved hurt and resentment. At times, changes such as infidelity, illness, grief, or shifting life goals can also leave you feeling lost, disconnected, or uncertain about the future. You might also be considering separation or simply be feeling stuck and unsure where to turn. I will work with you to explore these challenges in a supportive and non-judgmental space. Together, we might focus on improving communication, deepening understanding, and rebuilding trust and connection. Through dialogue, my hope is that you will feel sufficiently equipped to work through conflict and develop new ways of relating to one another — creating a deeper, stronger and resilient partnership.
Sexual difficulties can affect anyone at any stage of life and may have a profound impact on self-esteem, relationships, and overall well-being. While it can feel daunting to seek help, talking with a trained psychosexual therapist can be an important step toward understanding and resolving these issues. I work with both individuals and couples, helping them navigate a wide range of sexual and relational concerns, such as: • Difficulties with desire or arousal • Painful sex (including vaginismus or vulval pain) • Erection or ejaculation difficulties • Orgasm difficulties • Low libido • Anxiety or avoidance related to sex • Sexual shame or identity concerns • Compulsive sexual behaviour • The impact of childhood sexual abuse or trauma • Changes in sexuality linked to menopause, ageing, or illness • Gender and sexual diversities • Concerns about sexual pleasure, health, or well-being
My aim is to help you to experience sexuality as a joyful and integral part of who you are, focusing on sensuality and pleasure rather than societal or cultural expectations.
