In these challenging and uncertain time, it's never been so important so stay connected with each other for the good of our mental health. Enforced isolation could be causing many kinds of mental distress and making existing challenges or conditions more difficult to handle.
During this period I am offering phone and online counselling. We can use your preferred software (Zoom, WhatsApp Video, Face time or Skype) and if you are uncomfortable with technology I can spend some time helping you get set up, maybe starting with a phone session.
Enforced isolation could be worsening pre existing conditions and symptoms such as depression, loneliness and anxiety. Maybe your phobias and obsessive habits have become stronger. If you have already been diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder maybe you cannot handle any more stress. Some relationships may come under pressure when spending 24 hours a day together.
If this sounds like you and you need to some support, I am here to help you get through this difficult time.
Welcome to my practice.
I am UKCP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor and working from my home in Keyworth (South Nottinghamshire). I offer a confidential and non-judgmental space in which to explore your current challenges. We can talk about how you are in the world, how you relate to others and what you might want achieve in the future.
It’s a daunting step to pick up the phone and take your first step into the world of therapy. My experience is you won’t look back once you've started but if you are unsure please feel free to give me a call to discuss or come for an initial consultation so we can check out if we are right for each other and how we might work together.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
