Working in partnership with my clients, I create a sacred and supportive space to encourage and empower people towards discovery of their potential and their power through personal unfoldment.
My holistic approach involves taking an energetic and spiritual perspective. I combine traditional talking therapy with, guided imagery, meditation, mindfulness, journaling, inner child work and somatic experience to help clients achieve awareness, emotional balance and freedom.
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor with a post graduate diploma and Masters in Psychosynthesis Psychology, working in private practice. I also have trained in Compassion Focused Therapy. For 8 years I have been working with Cruse Bereavement supporting clients with their grief and bereavement and also as a Supervisor I have also worked as a support worker with people who have acute mental illness.
I have trained with Elaine Aron and have a special interest and experience in working with highly sensitive people. I support them in their overwhelm, sensitivity and deep processing to live healthy and fully engaged lives. I help them to realise their unique qualities of intuition, creativity and spiritual psychic experiences.
I believe that working through your pain, empowers you to find who you truly want to be. I can assist with a range of issues including, anxiety, addiction and dependency, co-dependency, depression, eating disorders, high sensitivity, negative beliefs, trauma (single incident/developmental) self-worth, confidence, loneliness, shame, change and transition, sexuality, relationships, direction, crisis and meaning and bereavement. Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
