I provide psychotherapy for a minimum of 6 sessions or on a longer term basis. More often I work with varied presenting issues over a longer term to provide clients with resources, resilience and resolutions to cope with impactful or traumatic life experiences. My psychotherapy training and diploma is in Transactional Analysis from an Integrative Perspective and included training for both integrative transactional analysis and relational transactional analysis. My psychotherapeutic approach uses aspects from both these schools of transactional analysis as well as a trauma informed approach when needed.
As a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, I work with individuals on a range of presenting issues including: stress; depression; anxiety; PTSD; low mood; self harm; bereavement and loss; trauma; abuse, long term health conditions. I also work with young people and couples and trainee psychotherapists. My working hours are daytimes during the week, providing sessions online and in-person. I usually carry brief introductory calls to arrange booking a first session this also give an opportunity for you to ask any questions. The best way to enquire is via email (lauramarsdenb@outlook.com).
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
