About Me

I am a queer, trans and non-monogamous psychotherapist. I have a lot of experience working within my own community but am equally interested in working with people from any background and lived experience. I have a particular interest in our relationships, romantic, family or platonic.

My Approach

I am a Person-Centred therapists and at the core of my approach is that you feel heard and understood. I am curious how you experience things and what shapes your life. I aim to facilitate you in your process and understanding of yourself. My approach is very collaborative, together we will go on this journey.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I volunteer in a bereavement service and so have lots of experience counselling those you have lost someone. There are many things that can make the experience of grief harder, life carrying on and having to get on with work and other things, difficulties in family relationships after someone's passing or the difference we may feel in ourselves after losing a loved one - to name a few.
We all have very different relationships to gender and out own gender therapy can be used to investigate what these things means and how they impact us.
Many people come to me experiencing a lot of distress that they at the mercy of. It can be very hard of feel out of control, depressed or suicidal. In a Person-Centred therapy relationship with me many have found movement and change in this area.
I have experience working with those who identify has having OCD or OCD traits. It can be very distressing to experience compulsions or intrusive thoughts.
I am a trans and non-binary person myself with lots of experience exploring gender and transness with clients. From questioning ones gender identity, exploring medical transition to talking through feelings around gender, all of it can be explored in therapy together.
