My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, anti-racist, and grounded in cultural humility. My practice is mindful of how systems and lived experience shape our perspectives and overall mental health. I believe that wellbeing is not solely an individual responsibility, and my work attends to both personal experiences and the broader social contexts that affect them.
I place the therapeutic relationship at the centre of my work, believing that meaningful change happens in spaces that are both safe and authentic. Through a trusting, collaborative approach, I support clients in developing insight, navigating challenges, and being more fully themselves. My care is transparent and responsive to each person’s values, identities, and goals, and I work intentionally to create a respectful, affirming environment where clients can show up as they are and move at their own pace.
I am a London-based UKCP-registered psychotherapeutic counsellor and an Advanced Registrant Practitioner with the UK Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners (UKAHPP). I have over ten years of experience working as a psychotherapist in both the United States and the United Kingdom. I received my Master of Social Work degree in the US in 2015 and have completed advanced training in CBT, suicidality, eating disorders, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and anti-racist practice.
I work with adults from all identities and backgrounds, including those with complex mental health histories, trauma, life transitions, and relational or circumstantial challenges. My approach is attentive to how different aspects of identity and lived experience shape mental health and the therapeutic process. My professional background includes working in university counselling centres, as well as serving as a clinical supervisor and graduate student supervisor.
The therapeutic relationship is at the core of my practice, and I am committed to creating a safe, trusting, and authentic space where clients can be fully themselves as they navigate their experiences. I am currently open to new clients for remote psychotherapy.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
