My approach is person centred, warm and inclusive. I work effectively with a wide range of psychotherapeutic tools and techniques as an integrative therapist, but in particular blend my transpersonal training with a Past into present psychotherapeutic approach most effective in helping clients with hidden and unconscious trauma.
In June 2017 I completed my training as a psychotherapist, achieving an MA (with Merit) with the University of Northampton and a Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy (CCPE), and accreditation with UKCP. This was the result of some 10 years part time training and clinical practice which I undertook whilst working full time in the Government and Public Sector. I am an experienced psychotherapist having completed 8+ years post accreditation as of September 2025, currently working for the Irish counselling centre ICAP remotely, for Mentis Tree in Bury St Edmunds face to face and remotely undertaking NHS short term counselling on behalf of Wellbeing Suffolk, and for Sporting Chance. In addition I also undertake private client work both face to face and remotely.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
