My Approach

I trained in the Humanistic approach, which utilises Gestalt therapy, Transactional Analysis and the Person-Centred approach.

About Me

If you are looking to overcome particular challenges in your life, improve your mental health, or even just better understand your feelings, psychotherapy can help.

I work in a Humanistic, client-led way which values your individual experience, and I offer a safe, non-judgemental way for you to explore your feelings, thoughts and worries.

Within psychotherapy, I provide a warm and collaborative space where challenging thoughts and feelings can be worked through, helping empower you to make positive changes.

I work with individuals aged 18 or over, via video call. Sessions are 50 minutes long, and the fee is £60 per session. If you'd like to explore working together please contact me by email (katie@katiehailstonetherapy.co.uk) or phone (07542 903 797).

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have 18 months of experience offering psychotherapy in a hospice setting, seeing clients who have had a cancer diagnosis previously, are currently going through treatment for cancer, and those caring for a loved one with cancer.
I have worked with a great number of clients looking to understand themselves better, and to discover what their purpose is.
