I am an Integrative, transpersonal psychotherapist, which means I am trained in different types of therapies (including humanistic, psychodynamic and existential) and can draw on a range of techniques to suit your individual needs. My overarching modality is transpersonal, which offers a deep holistic approach that allows us to look beyond symptoms and behaviours to meaning and purpose and the discovery and integration of different parts of us including mind, body and spirit. My warmth and empathy will help you find and trust your true self, so that you may understand yourself better and make the transformations you want in your life.
I work primarily in a client-centred way, matching my approach to your needs or your needs as a couple, while creating a safe space for you to explore whatever you need to explore. You may be feeling lost and searching for meaning in your life or going through a difficult transition and need to talk. I aim to help you find your own answers – from discovering how to live a happier, more fulfilling life and realising your potential to learning how to be in relationships without losing yourself, while fostering a more loving relationship with yourself and others.
When working with couples, I use a more structured approach which builds mutual understanding and empathy through dialogue tools and exercises designed to improve your communication with one another.
I am an accredited member of the UKCP and registered member of the BACP with 12 years experience. I offer short and long term therapy to both individuals and couples at my practice in Little Venice near Paddington and online. I also facilitate experiential group workshops and the Gestalt training for students at CCPE.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
