I listen with a presence and attention clients tell me they find rare. I ask questions that help a client come closer to their own experience. Sometimes I offer metaphors or images and ask, I wonder if for you it is like this? Over time, clients gain perspectives on themselves and their life situations, sensing possibilities and developing positions that align with their personal values.
I offer long-term psychotherapy to people who want to taste life and live with inner consent. I also offer shorter term therapy to people facing significant life decisions or transitions. I was trained as an existential analyst and logo therapist by Alfried Längle, successor to Viktor Frankl, author of Man's Search for Meaning. Currently, I am researching philosophy as a way of life with a contemplative psychologist co-author.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
