My Approach

My approach
I adopt a holistic, transformative, and multidimensional approach to therapy. My practice incorporates integrative and psychodynamic elements, emphasising outcome-focused psychotherapy. This means collaborating with clients to establish specific goals for treatment and regularly monitoring progress. I draw on various therapeutic techniques to assist clients in achieving these goals, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs.
In addition to this, I integrate principles from cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapies, addressing the emotional, behavioural, and cognitive aspects of my clients' experiences. This flexible framework allows for a personalised therapeutic experience, fostering a deeper understanding of the underlying factors contributing to each client's challenges.
I also incorporate psychodynamic principles, exploring the unconscious mind's influence on thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I aim to enhance self-awareness and understanding by bringing unconscious conflicts to light, ultimately promoting healing and growth.
• Mind-body-spirit connection: addressing an individual's mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health.
• Trauma-informed approach: recognising the impact of trauma on a person's mental health and well-being and providing a safe, supportive, nurturing and non-judgemental space to explore issues, challenges and blocks.
• Multidimensional approach: This progressive, holistic and integrative approach allows me to help individuals address deep-rooted patterns, entanglements, past life issues, and energetic family entanglements, for example, that may contribute to mental health challenges.
• Results-oriented approach: focusing on measurable outcomes and assisting clients in making tangible progress towards their goals.
• Integrative and psychodynamic approach
• Focus on self-empowerment: supporting clients in developing the skills and tools necessary to control their lives and reach their full potential.
• Customised treatment plans are tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
• Ongoing training and development: I am constantly learning and growing as a therapist. This commitment to professional development ensures that I'm as up-to-date on the latest research, techniques, and approaches to therapy as I can be.
• Work experience: with adult individuals of various ages, nationalities and cultures.
• In-person sessions in Ulverston, Cumbria, UK and online Zoom sessions
