Whatever difficulty you may be facing, you are very welcome. It is my joy to enable growth into greater psychological flexibility, rest and ease. You deserve it too. I offer individual and couples psychotherapy, and periodically run groups. Email me if you feel curious, or simply wish to learn more. This might be your first step to change.
My sessions are available online, and in person from my therapy room in the City at Queen Street (EC4R 1BB), 7 minutes from St Paul's. The room is spacious and offers a calm and discreet environment for you to enjoy therapy.
More information is available on my website, www.psychotherapywithjoyce.com, while you're also very welcome to reach out to me directly, via contact@coachingwithjoyce.com.
I offer a safe, insightful, and compassionate space for you to pause and be. Supporting you to voice your inner struggles and to work through them with care and effect. I work with a wide range of issues, including relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, childhood trauma, existential dread and chronic stress. It energises me to see clients become happier and healthier selves. Deeply rooted in their own potential. I am a Gestalt psychotherapist, ACT-CBT certified, and a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy, Metanoia Institute, and BAATN. My work is influenced by my interest in symbolism (dreams, metaphor, imagery, and imagination), where useful.
I have experience working with eating disorders, addiction, and dual diagnosis in clinical secured settings. My previous career as a corporate lawyer enables me to effectively support clients facing chronic stress, burnout, performance anxiety, and imposter syndrome, providing a strong foundation for our work together.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
