My Approach

I practice Integrative psychotherapy. I have a flexible approach so that the therapy suits the individual personality and needs of the client. I believe by providing a safe, regular, reliabe and confidential space in which to explore life's problems and by making sense of symptoms and difficulties change becomes possible I think of psychotherapy and counselling as a liberating process which opens up a range of different choices that will enhance your way of living. I practice short term counselling which focuses on immediate life concerns while longer term psychotherapy explores habitual life patterns and tendencies.

About Me

I qualified as a psychotherapist in 1983 and have been with the UKCP since 1993. I trained at the Minster Centre and Regents College in London in a range of theoretical approaches including humanistic, psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapy. I have extensive experience of working both in private practice, the charitable sector and the NHS. I offer long and short term psychotherapy and counselling to individuals and couples I also provide supervision to other practicing psychotherapists and counsellors.
