My Approach

My approach is integrative which incorporates different therapeutic styles, I do not believe there to be a 'one size fits all solution'. At the heart of my approach is the therapeutic relationship which is the vehicle for growth and change. In order to create an effective therapeutic alliance I endeavour to be empathic, respectful and, where appropriate, challenging.
We will work together to help you to understand how your past may be influencing your present thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Working through these issues will enable you to be more in charge of your life, alleviate your symptoms, create meaning in your life and develop more fulfilling and stable relationships.

About Me

I have an M.A. in psychotherapy and I am also a registered clinical supervisor (U.K.C.P.)
In addition to my private practice I am a Court Psychotherapist for the R.C. Diocese of East Anglia and was for many years formerly consultant psychotherapist at The Priory Group, Chancellor Health Care and Keys Group working with S.E.B.D. and A.S.D. children, adolescents and their families.
I am a full member of the U.K. Council for Psychotherapy, Clinical Member of University Psychotherapy & Counselling Assoc. Professional Standards Authority Registered.
I am trauma trained (Dissociative Disorders Psychotherapy) And Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist.
