I work with the interaction between thoughts, feelings and impulses to establish a picture of how my clients relate to the world around them, and the patterns and responses that have emerged over time which arise from everyday experience, but which create difficulties in relating to the world and those around us. I use a variety of creative approaches to explore this considered and supportive way. The aim is to find alternatives to old restrictive patterns and access untapped potential for living a fulfilling and productive life.
I have worked as a psychotherapist for the last ten years, after a twenty five year career in industry and consultancy. I work with people to deal with the difficult challenges that home and work life throw at us, with warmth, humour and insight. As a Body Psychotherapist I work with the interplay of thinking, feeling and sensation to explore how we see and experience the world and those in it, and how we can change our understanding of ourselves, our lives, our work and our important relationships. I am also a certified Pesso Boyden therapist.
