I am a counselling psychologist, existential psychotherapist, and clinical supervisor. My work supports people in making sense of their inner world and their relationships, and in finding a way forward when life feels uncertain, stuck, or overwhelming. Rather than offering quick fixes, I help clients develop deeper insight into how they are living, relating, and experiencing themselves — and from there, meaningful change can emerge where it feels necessary.
Existential therapy offers space to slow down and engage honestly with emotions, relationships, values, and identity. I have worked extensively with anxiety, bereavement, identity and life transitions, gender dysphoria, relationship difficulties, and the many existential crises most of us encounter across the lifespan.
I also offer clinical supervision to psychologists, psychotherapists, and counsellors.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, honest and respectful, grounded in open dialogue. Therapy with me is not about being given answers, but about creating a trusting, confidential space where we can explore what feels true for you. Through this collaborative relationship, we can sit with uncertainty, deepen understanding, and work together through your existential concerns at a pace that feels right for you.
My theoretical background is strongly rooted in philosophy, which led me to pursue a career in existential psychotherapy. Before training in psychotherapy and counselling, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Middlesex University and later completed a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Alongside my academic training, I have worked within the charitable sector, including with organisations such as Mencap and Victim Support.
I currently work in private practice with individuals and couples. My work is grounded in clients’ lived experiences, including their values, family history and relational systems, their sense of identity, their relationships with others and the wider world, and their questions around purpose and meaning.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
