Feeling heavy, stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself? Perhaps you’re not sure what’s wrong, only that something doesn’t feel quite right? You might be unsure whether therapy is for you, or whether what you’re struggling with is “enough” to bring.
Therapy doesn’t require you to have clear answers or the right words. It offers a calm, confidential space where your experience can unfold gently, at your own pace, and where you don’t have to manage things on your own.
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist grounded in Person-Centred psychotherapy. I believe that a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in healing. It provides a supportive space to explore deep and intense feelings, their impact and meanings, helping you reconnect with your own capacity for growth and change.
I offer both short-term counselling (6–12 sessions) and long-term, open-ended psychotherapy (24 sessions or more). Short-term work is often helpful for focusing on specific issues or navigating a current life transition. Long-term work provides the time and space to unravel deep-seated patterns and enduring emotional difficulties, facilitating lasting personal transformation through a deeper exploration of your underlying experiences and sense of self.
Who I Work With
I work with people, not just diagnoses. Whether you are feeling stuck in daily life or managing a complex mental health condition, I offer a space where you can be heard and understood as a whole person.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating:
- Complex emotional needs, including experiences of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) and intense emotional distress.
- Dissociation and Psychosis, including experiences of disconnection, hearing voices, or altered reality.
- Neurodivergence, including ADHD, Autism, and exploring your unique way of experiencing the world.
- Relationship with food and body, including eating disorders and distress regarding appearance.
- Life stages, including the unique challenges of older age.
- Enduring patterns of anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship difficulties.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
