I’m trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist and seek to work with you through present challenges and difficulties you face. This might involve your past and it might impact your future. I’m willing to explore whatever you feel you want and need in this moment.
I also offer 'Walk & Talk Psychotherapy' for those who would prefer to be outside in the open air.
As a psychotherapist I seek to support you as you consider yourself and what your unique life experiences means for you. I work in a relational way which provides space and the opportunity for you to engage in self exploration in a safe, supportive environment.
Our work together can be long or short term depending on your needs, which is something we can consider together. I would recommend a minimum of 8 sessions to enable us to be effective in building a connection and working on what you choose to bring. Whilst shorter term work is possible it might be useful to consider what has brought you to this point and what you hope to get from psychotherapy. The process of collaboration in psychotherapy is part of what makes this a rare experience and opportunity to invest in yourself.
I would be really happy to have an initial session where we can meet, connect and see if we feel working together is something we want to pursue.
My background is in youth and community work and I have over 25years of experience in working with adults and young people in a supportive capacity.
