  • Groups
  • Individuals
  • Private healthcare referrals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

An area in which I often work, is one where individuals and couples have experienced abuse and trauma, historically or more recently and currently.
I have worked in a Hospice for 30 plus years so have substantial experience and additional training in supporting clients who are dealing with illness, loss and grief, including anticipatory grief and support during end of life stage. My approach is sensitive and paced.
I was drawn to couples counselling, this as a key area of my counselling role. I undertook additional training to support my work with couples. I have considerable experience in this area.
I am passionate about Clinical Supervision and have considerable experience of working with students, newly qualified and experienced counsellors. I offer individual, group supervision and supervision contracted by NHS and the voluntary sector. I also offer stand alone one off supervision.
I have worked in a palliative care setting for a number of years. Counselling during this stage of life can be meaningful and supportive.
