My Approach

I offer integrative, trauma-informed psychotherapy, blending relational depth with body-based (somatic) and transpersonal approaches. My focus is on creating a warm, steady, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe enough to explore what you’re carrying.

We will work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we will make sense of difficult patterns, listen to what your nervous system is holding, and gently reconnect with your own capacity for healing and wholeness. This is a space for all of you — your past, your present, and the future you hope to create.

About Me

I’m Jamila, a UKCP-registered psychotherapist working with adults online and in-person in London (W2). I specialise in supporting people navigating anxiety, chronic pain, relational trauma, and grief.

Many of my clients are functioning well on the outside, but privately struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, or a feeling of being stuck. My work is particularly suited to sensitive, introspective people who feel they can’t just “think” their way better. Being trauma-informed means I prioritise creating a safe, validating space where you can explore difficult feelings without being rushed or judged.

The next step is to book a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. Please email me to arrange this.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I offer a supportive space to explore the roots of your anxiety, panic, or overwhelm. We will work with both mind and body to help your nervous system find a sense of safety, calm, and resilience.
I provide a compassionate space to navigate the complex and often overwhelming process of grief and loss. Whether your loss is recent or in the past, I can support you in honouring your experience and finding a way to carry it forward.
As someone with lived experience of chronic illness, I offer a space of deep understanding for the emotional and physical toll it can take. We can explore the grief, frustration, and identity shifts that come with living with a long-term health condition.
I support clients experiencing low mood, flatness, or a loss of meaning. Our work together can help you understand the roots of your depression and gently move towards a life with more connection, energy, and hope.
I work with the lasting impact of trauma, including relational trauma, childhood emotional neglect, and narcissistic family dynamics. My approach is gentle, paced, and focused on helping you reclaim a sense of safety and trust in yourself and your body.
