My Approach

I believe the relationship we build in therapy is central to meaningful change. Many of us spend years trying to make sense of ourselves through criticism, labels, or assumptions about what is ‘wrong with us’. Therapy can be an opportunity to begin understanding your experience with someone alongside you, rather than feeling you have to work it all out alone.

I aim to offer a supportive and accepting space where you can feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. From there, we can begin making sense of your experiences through curiosity and compassion, rather than judgement. I work in a relational and integrative way, drawing primarily on humanistic and psychodynamic traditions while remaining informed by contemporary research into areas such as trauma and neurodiversity.

Rather than assuming there is one correct explanation for your experiences, or offering fixed interpretations, I believe therapy is a collaborative process of exploring what feels meaningful, authentic, and helpful for you. Over time, this process can help you develop a greater sense of self-understanding and self-compassion, strengthen your inner resources, and move towards a life that feels more connected, peaceful, and fulfilling.

About Me

Many people come to therapy feeling burdened by anxiety, self-criticism or emotional overwhelm. You may have spent much of your life feeling different, misunderstood or not fully at ease in yourself or your relationships, perhaps struggling with a sense of not being good enough or somehow not fitting in. You might be trying to make sense of difficult past experiences, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, or struggling with how you see yourself and relate to others. If you suspect or know that ADHD or another form of neurodivergence is part of your experience, you may also be looking for support in understanding yourself more fully. Together, we can explore these experiences, make sense of the difficulties you're facing and consider ways forward that feel right for you.

I am a registered psychotherapist, holding an MSc in Psychotherapy. Alongside this, I hold an LLM in Health Care Ethics and Law, which reflects my interest in thoughtful, ethical, and evidence-informed practice. I have experience working with adults across a wide range of ages, both online and in person.

I offer online therapy for adults across the UK via video calls through Konfidens, which can be accessed through most modern web browsers. Appointments are available on weekdays and some evenings. My fee is £60 per 50-minute session.

You don't need to have a clear explanation or find the right words before reaching out. If you're wondering whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free 20-minute introductory conversation, where we can discuss what has brought you to therapy, any questions you may have, and whether working together feels right for you. You can arrange this directly through my website.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

ADHD can affect far more than attention or concentration, influencing how you experience emotions, relationships, everyday demands and your sense of yourself. I have a particular interest in supporting people to understand aspects of their life and identity through the lens of ADHD, including those discovering or making sense of ADHD in adulthood. Together, we can explore experiences such as feeling different or misunderstood, masking and self-criticism with greater curiosity and compassion.
Anxiety can take many forms, from persistent worry and overthinking to feeling overwhelmed, on edge or unable to switch off. Therapy can offer an opportunity to explore not only how anxiety affects you in the present, but also how it may relate to your past experiences, relationships and ways of understanding yourself. As we make sense of this together, we can consider what might help the anxiety you’re experiencing feel more manageable.
Questions around identity and sense of self can arise at many points in life, particularly during periods of change or when beginning to understand yourself in new ways. You may feel uncertain about who you are, disconnected from yourself, or caught between who you feel you should be and what feels authentic to you. Exploring these questions together can support a clearer sense of who you are, what matters to you and how you want to live.
Our relationships can be a source of connection and support, but also confusion, loneliness or pain. You may find yourself feeling misunderstood or disconnected, struggling with relationships that repeatedly become difficult, or wanting closer connections without knowing how to create them. In our work, we can consider what you need from your relationships, how you relate to others, and what might support more fulfilling connections throughout your life.
Difficult or overwhelming experiences can continue to affect how you feel about yourself, relate to others and experience the world long after they have happened. Therapy can offer a supportive and safe-enough space to explore the impact of trauma at a pace that feels manageable for you, with attention to what helps you feel grounded along the way. Rather than assuming that there is one particular way you should understand or respond to what happened, our work will be guided by your own needs and what feels important to you.
