The essence of psychotherapy, in my experience, is a return home to ourselves. How we do that is a unique journey that cannot be contrived or wished into existence. It takes intention, willingness and heart – and more often than not, it requires a guide or a fellow companion with whom to traverse the terrain of the psyche and soma/body.
Healing does not happen in a vacuum, and it is not an instant fix. It is more helpful to think of it as a process of uncovering our histories, current struggles, how we get our needs met, and the ways we compromise ourselves. It is a way of getting clear on what really matters to us.
The process of becoming a person did not begin when we decided to ‘be somebody.’ Rather we are rooted in our culture, ancestral practices, language, beliefs, and wounding that all make up our unique way of being in the world. Because our sense of self emerged from an interpersonal context, psychotherapy understands that healing also happens in relation to another.
The approach to therapy that I offer is mindfulness-based psychotherapy. It is an integrative way to therapy that is unique to the client in question. It draws from a multitude of approaches – somatic, psychodynamic, existential, trauma-based, and humanistic to name a few – with the intention to meet, hold and transform what most needs our attention.
When we learn to deeply listen to our thoughts, feelings, and sensations in space of acceptance and care, a natural unfolding can occur. As tensions, constrictions, and, often unconscious, ways we hold ourselves starts to loosen, our authentic person starts to emerge.
I am happy to receive you in the space that is just for you. Whilst goals and intentions may vary, the presence of another can help us experience ourselves more fully and honestly.

I am an Integrative (Mindfulness-based) Psychotherapist (MA) working face-to-face and online in London from Hackney Central, Shoreditch and Highbury Fields.
I completed my training from Karuna Institute, Devon, UK in Core Process Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy.
Further trainings include courses in: Polyvagal Theory (nervous system regulation), Existential Therapy, Person-centred therapy, Bereavement Work, Ecotherapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, Yoga Therapy, TRE.
Furthermore, I have worked closely with John Prendergast, Ph.D., and late Riyaz Motan (both former professors at the California Institute of Integral Studies). I also co-hosted two courses with Riyaz on Embodied Presence. It’s a living tradition formed out of humanistic psychology (Carl Rogers) and Focusing (Eugene Gendlin), one of the first forms of body psychotherapy.
John Welwood developed its scope by incorporating and unifying East and West psychology and methods. J. Prendergast and R. Motan further refined it as seen in the former’s publications: In Touch: How to Tune in to the Inner Guidance of Your Body and Trust Yourself (2015), The Deep Heart: Our Portal to Presence (2019) and Your Deepest Ground: A Guide to Embodied Spirituality (2025).
I am currently writing a book and developing courses based on this material.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
