About Me

I have worked within the field of human services since 1984, and have been registered as a Psychotherapist with UKCP since 2000.

I am the author of ‘An Integrative Approach to Healing Complex & Transgenerational Trauma: Psychotherapy and the Soul’, which was published by Routledge in May 2025.

I hold a Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy and an M.A. (‘With Distinction’) in Humanistic Person-Centred Psychotherapy. These were gained from The Sherwood Institute, where I trained from 1992 to 1996 and 2002 to 2003.

From 2004 to 2005, I attended training in Family Systems Therapy with The Hellinger Institute of Britain.

I have studied and trained in a wide range of trauma therapies, including EMDR at Levels 1-3 in 2006-7, CRM (The Comprehensive Resource Model) in 2015 & 2016 and DBR (Deep Brain Reorienting) in 2021, 2022 & 2023.

I am a student of the Diamond Approach with the Ridhwan School UK.
