I embrace person-centred approach in my psychotherapeutic practice, believing client is the best healing agent. I offer creative arts experience in psychotherapy, believing creative arts allow client to explore different levels of awareness and lead to healing and actualisation.
I am a person-centred psychotherapist, trained at Metanoia Institute. I trained in person-centred expressive arts with Dr. Natalie Rogers and Dr Sue Ann Herron at Person-Centered Expressive Arts Institute in the United States. I also hold a BA (Hon) in Psychology and Counselling.
I have worked in counselling since 2013, with people experienced emotional distress, loss and grief, mental health, and relationship issues. I began to offer support to people touched by cancer and their families in 2018 with a focus on bereavement, end-of-life issue, and self-regard. I offer psychotherapy in English and Cantonese.
I engaged in kintsugi art and harp therapy in recent years. I presented my arts-based research project in Association for Person Centred Creative Arts conference titled: 'Kintsugi: Mending the Fragments of the Memories'. Recently, I have begun training in Harp Therapy under International Harp Therapy Programme and hope to incorporate different creative arts elements into my expressive arts and psychotherapy practice.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
