My Approach

I have particular experience supporting people who are struggling in their relationships, whether they are facing repeated conflict, difficulties with trust and intimacy, family tensions, friendship breakdowns, or patterns that leave them feeling unseen, unheard or disconnected.

Therapy can help you understand these patterns, communicate more effectively, establish healthier boundaries, and build more satisfying and authentic relationships.People often come to see me because they are:

- Struggling in their relationships and wanting things to change
- Feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted
- Navigating a significant life transition or difficult decision
- Carrying the impact of painful past experiences into their present lives
- Seeking greater self-understanding, meaning and personal growth
Many of the difficulties we experience in life are connected to relationships—our relationship with ourselves, our partners, our families, our friends and the wider world around us.

Couples Counselling
You may find yourselves caught in recurring arguments, emotional distance, difficulties with intimacy, or uncertainty about the future of your relationship. Couples counselling provides a supportive space to understand what is happening between you, improve communication, strengthen emotional connection and explore constructive ways forward.

I often suggest activities or conversations for couples to try between sessions, helping you build on the work we do together and develop new ways of relating to one another.

About Me

Are you feeling anxious or overwhelmed, wanting to better understand yourself, improve your relationships or navigate a significant life transition?

Perhaps you're finding your relationships challenging or wanting to find more balance in life, to find a way of living that feels more authentic and joyful.

You may appear to be coping well on the outside, yet inside feel exhausted, overwhelmed, lonely or dissatisfied. Or perhaps you simply sense that life could feel richer, more connected and more meaningful than it does right now.

As a fully qualified UKCP registered psychotherapist and counsellor, I provide a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly, make sense of your experiences, and discover new ways of responding to life's challenges. I work with individuals and couples, including trainee counsellors.

Together, we can explore the patterns, beliefs and emotional responses that may be keeping you stuck, helping you develop greater self-awareness, resilience and choice in how you live and relate to others.

I welcome trainee counsellors and psychotherapists seeking personal therapy as part of their professional training, personal development or ongoing reflective practice.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

You may appear to be coping well on the outside, while internally struggling with anxiety, overwhelm or self-doubt. Together, we can explore the underlying causes of your anxiety, develop practical tools to manage it more effectively, and build the resilience and self-understanding needed to help you feel calmer, more confident and able to thrive.
I have specialist training and experience in working with people in relationships, sexuality and couples counselling.
Are you questioning who you are, where you belong, or how you want to live your life? Perhaps you feel different from those around you, caught between competing expectations, or are trying to make sense of changes in your life. I offer a warm, open and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Together, we can approach these questions with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and help you live in a way that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.
Our earliest relationships shape how we see ourselves, what we expect from others and how we navigate connection, conflict and intimacy. While these patterns often develop for good reasons, they can sometimes leave us feeling stuck, disconnected or repeating the same difficulties in our relationships. Together, we can explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, enabling you to develop greater awareness, make different choices and build healthier, more satisfying relationships.
Questions about sexuality can sometimes bring uncertainty, confusion, conflict or self-doubt. I offer a warm, open and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without fear of judgement. Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of yourself, work through any conflicts or concerns, and help you feel more confident, authentic and at ease with who you are.
