Welcome…
Are you looking for counselling because you are suffering from anxiety, depression, family difficulties, feeling sad or because of troubling past experiences?
Do you need to talk to a professional counsellor to make sense of your feelings?
Are you looking for a safe, confidential counselling space where you can explore any issues you have been experiencing?
If so, you are in the right place!
My name is Heather Lewis, I have more than 12 years experience as a counsellor/psychotherapist. I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred) and adhere to the Ethical Framework for counselling professionals.
I provide a warm welcome to both individuals and couples at my counselling practices in Canterbury and the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, or online. I currently offer in person, telephone and Zoom counselling (subject to Covid 19 restrictions). Please get in touch if you would like to arrange an appointment.
I use what is known as an ‘integrative approach’ to therapy, which means that I call upon a variety of ways of working in order to respond to your needs as an individual, or as a couple.
I use a wide range of humanistic, psychodynamic and relational approaches, at the heart of which is my desire for us to develop a therapeutic relationship from which you can explore any difficulties you may be experiencing, knowing that I will be along side you during this process.
