I am medically trained fully qualified relationship psychotherapist, psychosexual therapist and counsellor working predominantly in Emotionally Focused Therapy approach (EFT), helping people change their negative hurtful patterns of ‘blame-distance’ or 'attack-withdraw' into safe emotional connection and functioning.
My first career in Moscow was as a medical doctor, paediatrician and clinical neurologist, with Clinical Residency and PostGraduate qualifications in child development and neuropathology. I moved to the UK in 1993 and later on retrained and qualified in Systemic therapy, Psychodynamic approach, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Early Attachment and Psychopathology, as a Psychosexual therapist, and also got qualified as an Emotionally Focused therapist (EFT) and supervisor.
I work with both individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period and have both daytime and evening slots.
I offer counselling and therapy from my Central London consulting room (Harley St, just off Oxford St), and also close to London Bridge (a few minutes walk from from London Bridge tube station) with excellent transport links and plenty on-street parking and car-parks nearby.

I am UKCP registered, an Accredited Member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists), a Registered Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and ICEEFT Registered Member (International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Canada).

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
