My approach is fundamentally relational. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself offers an important space for exploration, understanding and change.
As a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw upon a range of therapeutic perspectives rather than applying a single method or formula. Our work develops collaboratively, responding to your individual needs, experiences and whatever emerges within our sessions.
Alongside exploring your present circumstances, we may consider how earlier experiences and relationships have shaped your understanding of yourself and the world around you.
I also welcome creative and imaginative ways of working, including imagery, metaphor, dreams and attention to bodily experience, where these feel meaningful and appropriate.
Above all, I aim to offer a genuine, thoughtful and engaged therapeutic relationship in which we can remain curious, explore difficult experiences and discover new possibilities together.
I am a UKCP-registered Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist offering psychotherapy in Bath and Westbury.
People come to therapy for many reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, or a sense of feeling stuck. Sometimes there is no easily identifiable problem, but a desire to understand yourself more deeply or make sense of something in your life.
I offer a thoughtful, compassionate and exploratory space in which we can begin to understand your experiences, relationships and emotional patterns together.
I see psychotherapy as more than simply addressing symptoms. It can also be an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, discover new perspectives and explore what feels meaningful in your life.
